Our Sense of Touch

This week's focus was our Sense of Touch

We played a fun game to test our "feeling skills".
Each child brought a bag with surprise items inside.
One by one, without looking, we tried to guess what the item was.

Then we made a "touch and feel" book.
Hope you have a fun time reading it with your child and exploring the different textures represented in the book!

This week, our science experiment was extra fun!
We used our sense of touch to explore the interesting qualities of cornstarch.

First, we felt it dry . . .

Then, we added water.

And the fun really began!
You can make your own slime using 1 Cup corn starch and mixing it with 1/2 C water. If you've never tried this before, you'll be surprised how curiously the slime reacts to your touch!
