A new song, for a new year!

This week we started learning about time.
We are practicing reading an analogue clock to the hour.
We played a fun game to test our skills
- each child turned the hands to an hour of his choice, then we had to tell the time.
In science, we made our own volcano.
The kids had a fun time measuring and mixing ingredients to come up with the volcano. It will be fun to continue our science experiments through the rest of the year.
We talked about the sounds for 'm' 'a' and 's' and introduced the 'f' sound. Soon we will begin blending sounds and learning sight words. It's so exciting to see little readers develop!
Even though it was a very short preschool week - we still managed to have so much fun! Hooray for preschool pals!
